Mini Picassos are 4 sessions a term lasting 45 minutes each of Creative crafts. Conducted by local artist Ann Biggs who is assisted by enthusiastic volunteers Wendy and Cherry, there is no time to get bored.
Mini Picassos are open to children from 20 month’s up to 5 years old accompanied by a parent/carer with a maximum of two children per adult. Babies can join brothers and sisters but will need to stay in highchairs during the craft session, so please don’t forget to bring toys or snacks to keep them happy.
You will become as messy as possible so don’t forget to bring appropriate clothes. Every craft you wish to do at home, we offer the opportunity to do it here! The session finishes with tea or coffee for the adults and biscuits for the little ones.
Parents testimonials: "This is the best toddler and pre-school art class I've come across in my 8 years as a parent to 3 children. So lovely to have the choice of several different art activities each week, not just painting or play-dough like most playgroups offer. Each week we have enjoyed making a variety of different things together using a range of mediums and always at just the right level of difficulty for the little ones. Ann and her helpers are so patient and enthusiastic with the children. I think you might have to run an adult group for when our children are too big to come any more! "
"We so enjoyed the last set of Mini Picasso classes; the art / craft ideas are really inventive and the materials supplied are excellent. You also get to make a lot with your child in a short space of time. It's fun for both parent and child."
