A = session led by museum staff
B = teacher-led session
We have found that the most popular ratio is 3 museum-led to 2 teacher-led sessions.
Themed days, such as Medieval/Tudor Life, Fenland Life, and Second World War, will normally be priced at £4.50 (half day £3.00) and contain one teacher-led activity, though this is open to discussion with the school.
Teachers and adult helpers are free of charge.
We recommend a ratio of at least one helper to 10 children of primary age and below.
We are no longer charging per person, but per group. This will simplify charges and will also lead to substantial cost reductions for schools.
The normal charges are:
£25 for a 1-hour session
£18 for a 40-minute session
£10 for a 20-minute assembly
but watch out for special offers!
